Helling’s Curry Museum: Home of the Key West Women’s Club
One of just a few brick structures in Key West, the 8,334 square foot mansion was built in 1892 by Captain Martin Luther and Eleanor (Curry) Hellings. Eleanor was the 6th child of 8 born to William and Euphemia Curry, one of Key West’s foremost merchants and Florida’s first millionaire.
Key West’s history has seen the “best and worst” of times. If any event changed Key West more, it was the fire of 1886. Fire started near the San Carlos Institute and quickly spread. The only firefighting equipment was in New York for repairs leaving the citizens with bucket brigades [...]

Key West Wildlife Center Inc
Key West Wildlife Center's mission is to ensure the future of our diverse native wildlife by providing timely rescues and quality rehabilitation with the hope of release back to the wild. We provide rescue services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through our rescue phone 305-292-1008. We are located in Indigenous Park and are open to the public every day except Wednesday.

Key West AIDS Memorial
The Key West AIDS Memorial is a permanent tribute to the people who have died of AIDS or complications related to HIV or AIDS. Their names are inscribed on granite monuments in approach to the Ed Knight Pier. While HIV is manageable, until there is a cure people will still die of AIDS or related complications.
